Out Now: fayIN 2.3 for After Effects + New Licensing Options

fayteq released the new update for its fayIN plugin for Adobe After Effects. Version 2.3 of the easy camera-tracking and matchmoving tool comes with lots of new features and improvements.

Enhanced usability in fayIN 2.3

With this latest release, fayteq again implemented various suggestions from the community. fayIN 2.3 takes the usability of the plugin to an even higher level. Just to list some of the new features: Users can now choose between a convenient “Beginner Mode” and an advanced “Expert Mode”. Beginners start with step-by-step instructions on how to operate the plugin and integrate inserts in their videos fast and easily. Advanced users can switch on “Expert Mode” for the full range of tools and functions to fine-tune their track and insert.

fayIN 2.3 comes with enhanced support of After Effects’ timing properties allowing the artists to set individual in- and out-points, define layer offsets and individual composition start frames. Cutters will be happy about the enhanced compatibility with Adobe Premiere. They cut their clips in Premiere and easily use Adobe’s dynamic link export to switch to After Effects for the tracking with fayIN afterwards.

With fayIN 2.3, fayteq accelerated its workflow of integrating text. Simply select “Create Text Layer” via the context menu and fayIN automatically creates a new sub-composition with a text layer as insert for your track.

New pricing structure

Together with the latest release, fayteq has built up a new licensing structure for the plugin. Users can now choose between four licensing options: three temporary licenses for 6, 12 or 24 months as well as a one perpetual version. The temporary licenses include all version updates and upgrades and start at €9.95 (about $11.04) per month. The perpetual license can be purchased for €299.95 ($332.94).
